On April 9, 2017, a commemorative event for the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge will take place at the Canadian National Vimy Memorial in France.

At 10AM on CBC and CTV, live coverage of the Centennial Commemoration ceremony at the Vimy Monument in France will be broadcast.

If you are planning to attend the event, you MUST register online by February 28, 2017. Click HERE to begin the registration process. Site restrictions will be in effect from April 6-9, 2017. Therefore if you are not registered, you will not be allowed on site.

Veterans Affairs Canada will collect the registration information (such as full name, email address, date of birth, place of birth, nationality and transportation) and will then disclose the information to the Canadian Embassy in France and the French authorities for their review and analysis in designing and implementing a security plan for the protection and safety of the attendees.
