Lambton-Kent-Middlesex Commitment to Clean Water and Wastewater Receives Boost from Federal Dollars
Strathroy – Member of Parliament for Lambton-Kent-Middlesex, Bev Shipley says, “I am pleased to see local projects approved for funding under the Canada-Ontario Clean Water and Wastewater Fund (CWWF) agreement.”
Just shy of $3 million has been committed to projects in the following municipalities and townships:
Brooke-Alvinston
Dawn-Euphemia
Lambton Shores
Lucan Biddulph
Middlesex Centre
Strathroy-Caradoc
Warwick
MP Bev Shipley, from his previous years as Mayor of Middlesex Centre, understands well the need to invest in local infrastructure. “It’s very important that the federal government supports our local communities, and who better to know what needs to be done than the municipal officials?”
He looks forward to continued collaboration between the federal government and the municipalities of Lambton-Kent-Middlesex.
