Canada 150 Fund

In 2017, Canada will mark the 150th anniversary of Confederation. This will be a historic opportunity to celebrate our great country, and our Conservative Government is proud to support celebrations of this important milestone.
Our Government is providing $210 million to support activities, events and celebrations in communities across the country through the Canada 150 fund . Reflecting Canada’s rich history, diverse natural and cultural heritage, strong values, and many accomplishments, these events will unite Canadians from coast to coast to coast.
And, through the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program , our Government is also supporting the renovation, expansion and improvement of existing community infrastructure in all regions of the country. These projects celebrate our shared heritage, while also creating jobs and improving the quality of life in our communities.
Our Conservative Government is committed to helping ensure that Canada at 150 is truly a celebration of Canada – a nation strong, proud and free.
